GLNG is led by Australian company SANTOS, in partnership with three of the world’s leading energy companies; PETRONAS from Malaysia, TOTAL from France and KOGAS from South Korea.
Gasworks’ contribution to the project took 16 months to complete all inspections and testing of the propane storage facility on site at Curtis Island, offshore from Gladstone, Queensland.
A total of more than 274 valves and other devices were inspected and audited.
Gasworks reviewed the project on the client’s behalf with Queensland’s Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM) to achieve compliance with requirements of AS1596 and other relevant gas codes.
Gasworks also fabricated and supplied spool pieces for specialty purposes to meet compliance requirements.
